remove linux from dual boot machine?

I need some guidance on how to remove Mandriva Linux from my dual boot computer. The second os is Winxp and I cannot remember how to do it. I remember one time I used partion magic to clean out the linux drives but then xp would not boot. I remember I used the install cd to repair the winxp.

in winxp, if you still have access to the old fdisk program, you can run fdisk /mbr and that should remove the linux bootloader. also, you can reformat the drive partition under 'start/settings/control panel/administrative tools/computer management/locat storage' also, you can start up windows in
