Ahh never mind. I found the problem. It seems that I saved the plugin as an html page (oops) and I only changed the extension not realizing that it would pollute the nice .pm file with all sorts of stuff. I have since corrected this problem and all works great. Thanks! -- tgoldstone ___

I'm running the 9/24 6.2 nightly with the Advanced Alarm plugin. I happen to be getting the following error on launch; 2005-09-25 20:09:31.2668 Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at C:/Program Files/SlimServer/Plugins/AlarmPlugin.pm line 41. The plugin then bombs out with;

I try to use the plugin on a SB1 with a display fo 2x40 characters. I configured the SB to display great characters. Ok, it can't display the degree-sign, so it shows a D, that's ok, but.. At the first two characters the plugin blanks the top part, so the zero looks like a small u... Any idea?

The attached patch does a tiny bit of this. It's not meant for use, just to illustrate what I mean (head's not working today!). This simply resizes the window to an arbitrary value. A decent value would need working out, and it should probably also turn most of the window features (toolbar etc)

It's a shame that the status page opens in a large window by itself. This is because it's designed to be in the top of the righthand column of a frameset. I wonder how it would work to put a bit of javascript into the status frame/page that makes it resize to a small "player window" if it finds
