Greg,
Just noticed that the Celsius Temperature display was broken. (39 is a
bit warm for December in my part of the globe *gg*)
In the FtoC routine you've got the conversion 'commented' ?
Removing the comment worked for me, question is: does that break
something else ?

When you used telnet - did you see a connected message ? If not, how
long did you wait before stopping telnet ?
Can you check Norton to see if Mplayer is allowed to access the
Internet ?
In the past, I've had problems with Norton after some Windows updates.
The probs were cleared by an
Just to clarify - am I right in assuming that you've selected the
MusicMagic filter you want in the MusicMagic settings page in
slimserver, but the filter is not working?
Another quick check - have you set up slimserver to use common
MusicMagic settings for all players, or have you got
Well, in between my last post and yours, I uninstalled Norton then ran
the test in the Alien BBC instructions, and got sound.
However, I still can't check the Shorten boxes in Server settings:file

To answer your question, I then ran telnet again and got only a blank

OK, thanks for that, bpa. However, I wonder if anyone can help me with
the remaining problem cos I'm really no further forward. In case it

I take it that this part of the plugin doesn't really work yet?

The filters work fine when I do a mix - but not when SlimServer is
loading library data from MM.
I have the 'per player' setting turned off - so I just have one set of
settings.

Just got SlimCD up and running on an old dual PII w/ 256Meg of RAM.
Seems to be working OK, except the graphics in the window are almost
