This suggests slimserver can't connect to the remote station - have you
tried increasing the radio station timeout in Server Settings - Network?

This same thing happens when I click on my LastFM links (preset, used to
work).
But radioio works great:

I am having problems listening to most radio stations (radioio works

I was having a problem getting the plugin up and running until I
realized that my player wasn't on the network for some reason.

I understand slims view that it should not modify the music files, so
writing the rating to the file
