The logging helped -- after I put in the *.conf files I saw that
mplayer.sh wasn't executing. I looked at the file permissions and other
didn't have rights to execute the script. Once I changed that, things
started working.

Update...when I try to play a XM station it doesn't load in the player
section...when I opened the plugin I opened it with wordpad" I might

Hi I have noticed since upgrading to 6.3.1 of slimserver this plugin is
no longer working. I have messed around with my players name and tried
all I could think of. The plugin keeps coming back saying "Player with
name: BEDROOM could not be found".

The wrong location of the custom-types.conf file means that you probably
installed the version of AlienBBC for 6.3 and not 6.5.
Uninstall AlienBBC and install AlienBBC for 6.5 and see if it makes a
difference.

The SB3 still does not connect initially. As long as I try a station
out with SoftSqueeze first and then try SB3 player it's fine.

I suspect it has something to do with the Java 2 platform as it has
recently updated to Version 1.
In the UK, getting it fine through SoftSqueeze as I type this mail.
Just been trying firewall etc and different socketwrapper but still

I'm trying to listen to the GWR radio stations through AlienBBC and am
not getting any joy.
I can listen to Radio1, 2, etc OK but not GWR stations.
I'm running Windows XP SP2 and have tried:
6.3.1 build of Slimserver with AlienBBC install pack for 6.2/6.3
