I've been ripping a lot of CDs to FLAC, and rescanning the library.
After I installed LSv2.3 the rescans seemed not to terminate - the web
page persisted in reporting the scan still in progress, even after
closing, say IE, and opening SS in Firefox. But Windows Taskmanager
showed no activity for

thanks, that seems to work... will now try to do something serious with
it - BTW for any other readers of this thread, the MusicInfoScr plugin
DOES pick up the custom tag so you can use it how you want.

Bump. I have an Intel Mac and get the same "Make" error. I have tried

SB appears to log in to XM ok and retrieves the station information, but
when I try to connect to any of the music streams I get the error
message: Problem: Can't connect to server for: [name of stream]. Any
suggestions for troubleshooting?

AlienBBC 1.06 works with 6.5.1 so don't try 7.0 as it adds another
unknown variable - SS 7.0 is beta and in flux and in some nightlies it
may not work.

The logging facility has changed radically in SS 7.0 so you'll have to
find out the equivalent yourself as I don't intend to install 7.0 at
the moment.
For SS 6.5
1. Go to Server Settings/Debugging
2. Select d_source, d_plugins and d_parse
3. To open log window click on the hyperlinked word "here
You'll only get an update if there has been one in the last 10 mins -
otherwise it will display the BBC headline. Give it a go this afternoon
and it should be displaying constant updates.

Ugh - I think you solved my issue - user procedure error! - I only have
softsqueeze and an older squeezebox - neither of which support direct
streaming. Doh! I should have put that together! Thanks again. I'll be
upgrading to SB3's soon.

associated with the server (the client passed to the page handlers is
