OK, well you shouldn't be short of memory then (but still worth a look
in Task Manager). Softsqueeze really ought to work for you, there is
some problem here. What versions of Slimserver and Softsqueeze are you
using? Also worth checking for Java updates, I think.

I suspect it might be related to that I used the tar.gz version, which
I need to use since I need to be able to have
Works perfectly for me. Server and client are both running XP Pro.
Very recent nightly of 6.5.3, but a pretty old Softsqueeze version of
2.7 on the client.
How are you changing tracks - something via the remote, or through the
web interface?

I just installed a completely new computer and it has the exact same
behaviour where FLAC music results in SoftSqueeze hang/deadlock all the
time.
- Does FLAC work perfectly in SoftSqueeze for everyone else ?
- Does anyone have any clue how to debug this besides the logs I

1. Goto Custom Browse in the web interface

I have one wired SB3 and a wireless SB3. They are synchronized. I have
weathertime set up for both (when off), but it only seems to work on the
wired SB3. Actually, it does work on the wireless SB3, but only if I
select it from the plugins.

Hey - a great plugin - but I have a problem.
I have the audio recording device set to 'what u hear' but no matter
what I do - the microphone of my webcam gets sent to my squeezebox.
However, if I start recording a wave file in an audio editing program,
I get the sound I was after. Nothing seems

exactly the same problem. I used the normal installation wizard, went

There hasn't been much development since, but it seems to be working fine
for quite a few users.

Dear All,
After the great success of my SB installation 'Her Indoors' now wants
music in the room that the SS machine resides. I've installed
SoftSqueeze on that machine, but the playback is all choppy, so can I
install SoftSqueeze on the same machine as the server sw? or do I need
