mplayer.sh lives (or used to live, in SlimServer 6.5.x) in a folder named bin inside the SlimDevices folder in the Library. My installation is for one user only, so I am referring to ~/Library. I expect the relevant Library is /Library if installed for all users. -- danco

The AlienBBC for TS-109 was created by Progressive so it may have some custom changes to suit the QNAP - all I can offer is advice on a standard installation. Since the RTSP entries in Server Settings/Filetypes are enabled - it means that Slimserver has found the mplayer.sh file and a flac

Cool. I found the missing directory and copied mplayer.sh into it. Success. Now the only thing I gave missing is the ALien BBC icon in the Internet Radio selection from the home folder in squeezecenter ? Any ideas on that one ? -- grifforama

It won't hibernate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hibernate_%28OS_feature%29) at all. I assume you talk about hardisk standby: the harddisks seem to spin down more reliably using SSODS 3.x and Squeezecentre 7.0. There are a couple of other threads addressing this never-ending story :-) Regards,

I'm not sure this is going to work on windows for local files. The problem is that on windows we assume the use of the socketwrapper helper application which is used for remote streaming to get the data out of mplayer. -- Triode

Is there a way to do keyword searching from the SqueezeBox remote (ala Lazy Search plugin) but with normal (non-predictive) text input? I've installed Lazy Search, and the keyword searching is great, but I prefer the normal input method used by the build-in Search menu. Thank you. -- gabriel
