Hi, does this support old versions of slimserver? I have 6.5.1, and
can't seem to get it to work. I noticed in the .xml file there's some
strings saying it requires version 7? Or did I just mess up when I
installed it?
Thanks!

Hi!
In the library view, Moose 0.64d seems not to display thumbnails for

The Moose thumbnail cache is held (I think) in the folder

I had a listen to R3 and R4 on Play Again: they both sound the same to

I think it's possible that no one else has flagged it because it is

OK, bpa, thanks for hanging in there. I'll have a rummage around and get

These sorts of issues occur more often than I would like. The last
upgrade of kubuntu was such an event when the techno fairies took a
leading role.

Thanks again, and keep this skin alive!

The ownership and permissions are exactly as the older one.
But I think the problem is with the new sh file you attached. Looking

That says - Slimserver cannot find, access or run mplayer.sh. This
means the "new" mplayer.sh is somehow different to the "old"

You must make sure that the new mplayer.sh file has the same ownerhip

My guess is because the old mplayer and mplayer-nogui were effectively
the same - a command line mplayer.
The new version of mplayer is the GUI frontend and so had to remove the
old mplayer.
Try running mplayer-nogui from the shell prompt with "--help" option.

AlienBBC just copies files into slimserver directory - it does not do
anything with registry etc. so these WMP problem are not AlienBBC
related unless you have overwritten
OK, I 've managed to rename the sh.text file as sh, using Get Info. So,

nonetheless stay unchecked. (And when I try to play a feed I get RTSP

It seems that it is the mplayer-nogui package that removes mplayer. This
leaves alienbbc as nonoperational.
Why mplayer and mplayer-gui are not compatible in my system is beyond
me. I shall ask for info on the kubuntu forum.
