At the moment you would need either TrackStat or iTunes Update plugin
to change ratings in SqueezeCenter, there is currently no functionality

I am trying to get the SuperDateTime plugin working on a new SC7 (gold)

"Controller" means you support the CLI, correct?
Is there a documentation out there that I could use?

This was an impressively detailed answer!
Now, the issue at hand is that I wish to rate from iPeng. As far as I
know i will then have to use TrackStat.
I currently have 2) and 3) installed. This seems to make it possible to
rate on iPeng and have the data transferred to iTunes (I am working on

functionality.

Oh yes, friends and neighbours is fixed too!
On screen notifications means when you do a love or ban, a message will
pop up on the Controller to confirm this. (You should also see messages
if things go wrong as well.)

Michael,
Yes, I renamed "slimnas-0.92.tgz" to "slimnas.tgz". I do get a
SqueezeCenter menu entry on my FreeNAS console, so I know your install
instructions have worked properly. I also note that you added the
startup/shutdown entries into the Command scripts - thanks for doing
that.
Frippera,
Hi all,
I have now done a bit more research, and I've run into a potential
issue:
- Rating Data from TrackStat seems to be transferred to iTunes once in
a while.
- Ratings already made in iTunes are shown in iTunes Update but not in
TrackStat
Is this to be expected - that ratings made in iTu
I did follow my own suggestion of making the folders executable, and I
think AlienBBC is now working.
*Think* because when I first tried to play a stream it would not play,
but was fine the second time. I may just have pressed a wrong button,
though.

Sune,
No problem, but I guessed something like that.
It happens to people that are more familiar with SqueezeCenter than
iPod/iPhone that they have a different understanding of the UI concept.
As is written in the first chapter of the manual... (sorry for the pun)
I generally let the iPod UI styl
Thanks.
I have unzipped it ok. Too late in the evening to get round to
modifying it now, but it looks straightforward.

Does browsing friends and neighbours work again?

I've uploaded SqueezeScrobbler v1.1.8 to
https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=105780
This new version fixes all of the various settings bugs that I'm aware
of, and adds on-screen notifications and love/ban commands to the new
Controller.

the .par file is basically just a zip file. If you unzip and move the .pm
files back into the same location as the .par file, delete the par file
and you can edit as you see fit.

SongScanner for 6.x was just a text file. So it was easy for a user to
modify it to get Scannerfast which jumped by 10% each step, and
Scannermedium which jumped by 4% each step.
Because a lot of my files are recorded from the BBC, they last for half
an hour, an hour, or even longer. So I used Sc

The mplayer.sh in AlienBBC 2.0 also expects mplayer to be installed as

Perhaps mplayer.sh is not finding where your mplayer executable is

As I have both a desktop and a laptop Mac, I am using 6.5 on my desktop
and playing with 7 and SoftSqueeze on my laptop.
AlienBBC works fine on 6.5, but the newer version is not working on 7.
The menus are fine, but it just does not play.
I've checked that mplayer.sh has the same permissions and
My problem still persists, I have also installed/uninstalled 4 or 5

What version ot SqueezeCenter/Freenas are you trying c0utta?
I tried, 17610 and 17779. And 0.686 and 0.686.2.

Hi there,
Thanks for keeping up with my lack of manual reading ;-) Anyway, I

Ive just rebuilt my NAS and have gone back to a clean installation of
FreeNAS 0.686.2 (revision 2891). Like frippera, I followed the
instructions but do not get a working SqueezeCentre 7.0 as I did under

I have also installed/uninstalled multiple times and have reinstalled
FreeNAS as well.
The userid was set to zero because of previous problems.
What is the setting that is correct for the different Linux distros and
OSX ?

Erland,
here are new builds of AlbumReview/Biography with your patch applied. I
