OK, turns out the default skin does not use the "index" function (which
should do just this) but a button emulation. Will change over to that
behavior in the next iPeng version.
I consider this a bug of SC but as long as the workaround works I'm
fine with it. But please be patient until July 11th.
It's a donation. No guideline given (by me). Give as much as it's worth
to you.

A quick note to say "wow" ! I've just spent the evening rebuilding my
Squeezecenter server plus a few plugins. Thought I'd give iPeng a go as
it's a while since I last tried it and it's brilliant !
Love how it "just works" with some of the plugins like AlienBBC and
MusicIP - great work :)

I'm not sure what you mean, MC2Slim and Media Centre are used for

Hi
I'm running Squeezecenter 7.01 on a linux NAS box. I have successfully
created a last.fm account and can play music on my Squeezebao 3 using
the web interface. I haven't installed SlimScrobbler or
SqueezeScrobbler. I have noticed that a directory called AudioScrobbler
already exists, however i
Dr Lovegrove,
First, want to say thanks for an excellent program. I'm fairly new to

I have a question about support of multiple items in tags. I have a
few collections of CD's where the collection consists of multiple CD's
but each individual CD is dedicated to

Hello,
My amp (still to be bought) Audionet Amp I v2 can be switched on and
off by means of a signal via spdif / toslink.
Normally this is done by the source or preamp of the same brand. I
wonder if a transporter could send this signal via the digital out
while playing a network stream.

Yes.
The new features 2.0 has will help solve a lot of the issues iPeng has
now, especially two-finger-scrolling and load times.

Since July 11th is the big day, cen we assume the iPhone/ITouch 2.0
upgrade will be required for this next version of iPeng to operate?

I tried a few things that did not work yet. There is no "notification".
But I'll see what I can do for

Hi,
I've been using your skin/plugin for quite a while now and I recently
upgraded to the 0.4 version, and wow, it's even sexier than before :)
I do have one quick question, I have RTFM but I couldn't find the
answer to this question. How do I get out of the plugin view and back
to the standard
It is (was) in now playing/cover art view. But the darndest thing - I
just tried it again, and it worked fine : no jumping to a new playlist.
I have no idea why, or how, it 'fixed' itself!

There are very good reasons for sending the lossless compressed audio to
the player. Firstly you increase your buffer by 40-60%, secondly at the
same time you are decreasing your bandwidth requirments by 40-60%.
Making it far less likely you will run into buffer problems compaired
to pure PCM, esp
sounds totally backwards... wouldn't you want to do all processing on
the cheap computer and send PCM for minimal processing on the
squeezebox? Sounds like the design changed, or the usage changed, or
something...

The resampling in hardware was a quick fix that a number of people
shouted for, it was added. However, because of the limited processing
power of the SB3 it doesn't work very well. Sean has said he regrets
adding it in the first place.
Detecting the sample rate of FLAC files is not a trivial chan
can't believe
1. slim devices doesn't do this by default, resampling in hardware is
stupid and then they can say it cant be done (like I read about with
96khz)
2. nobody seems to know about this (are people stupid?)
3. nobody has 96khz or higher music?
People, please vote for this.
