OK, turns out the default skin does not use the "index" function (which should do just this) but a button emulation. Will change over to that behavior in the next iPeng version. I consider this a bug of SC but as long as the workaround works I'm fine with it. But please be patient until July 11th.

There are very good reasons for sending the lossless compressed audio to the player. Firstly you increase your buffer by 40-60%, secondly at the same time you are decreasing your bandwidth requirments by 40-60%. Making it far less likely you will run into buffer problems compaired to pure PCM, esp

The resampling in hardware was a quick fix that a number of people shouted for, it was added. However, because of the limited processing power of the SB3 it doesn't work very well. Sean has said he regrets adding it in the first place. Detecting the sample rate of FLAC files is not a trivial chan
