I just updated both Squeezecenter and SuperDateTime to latest and am
finding that SuperDateTime will no longer display weather forecasts or
stock quotes as alternating tickers. It sits on the current weather
only and does not offer the other displays. I have configured
weather.com for proper zip
Did anyone get any NFL scores on Superdate today? I have yet to see
'NFL' as an option to click on with my controller. I'm still trying to
figure out when and how long the scores appear with the plugin?? Where
do the scores come from? Only regular season ( meaning no pre-season?

I've followed posted instructions to enable SSH on ReadyNAS rebooted
NAS, and downloaded Putty on my laptop. I am able to log onto the
ReadyNAS root through Putty, but I am not sure exactly how to copy the
zipped directory for my plugin onto the NAS. I'm sure there is
something trivial to this,

(sometimes once a week, sometimes several times a day) this could have
slipped in. remark: watch the startup log on each and every update :)

I have the volume issue with all my SB3s and my transporter and read
where Andy said to upgrade to 7.1.1. Can I simply drop 7.1.1. in the
slimnas directory and install from FreeNAS or do I need to wait for
Michael to upgrade his isnstall script?

Regarding upgrading, I'd like to upgrade to SqueezeCenter. However I'm
running SlimRoku on my Pinnacle Soundbridge to listen to BBC, but I

I had a few posts earlier saying I was having getting iplayer to work
but now is there and works great. Got Verity Sharp back which is all I
ever wanted really.

I can see it in the plugin list, but not in the player's/controller's

okay, i found out that tracks_persistent was the only table still at:
CHARSET=utf8 COLLATE=utf8_unicode_ci
so i adjusted the charset to the same as track_history,
track_statistics and tracks with:
alter table tracks_persistent convert to character set utf8;
(i hope this doesn't break anything e

cmd.exe is a standard windows app - it is the command line processor.
What version of Windows are you using ?
Where is cmd.exe located on your system ?
Have you installed windows in a directory other than "C:\Windows" ?
I think I used the standard SC routine (FindBin) to locate the .exe -
so if

Great wonderful plugin! I just had a dinner party
where a guest ran out to the car and got a CD that
she *really* wanted to listen to and I was able to
pop it in and play it! Previously, I'd have had to
have her wait half an hour while I rip it and sync
the DB.
An aside though, it looks like so
For SS 6.5 users - attached is a new version of iPlayer Addon to
AlienBBC 1.06.
As before, unzip and put into Alien/AlienAddon directory so that there
is a directory called AlieniPlayerMenu which has 3 files. Then restart
SS.
Please provide feedback as I did minimal testing.

I am running AlienBBC 1.06 on Slimserver 6.5.x, and successfully got
the iPlayer addon running which was on Post#29.
This has since stopped working (empty lists for each station within the
iPlayer menu).
Is there an updated version available for the iPlayer menus for
AlienBBC v1.06 or
OK - firstly, unpack to a temporary folder.
You should have a folder named LazySearch2 with all contents in.
Next open the folder and using your favourite editor (eg. WordPad),
edit the file install.xml.
Change the value to something like 7.2+
Then move the entire folder to SqueezeCenter > serv

you are using the old "Listen Again" menu items and not the iPlayer
Addon menu.

lazy search is not working with my squeezecentre installation (7.1) on
my windows home server box - it claims its an incompatible version of
the plugin. I think it might be no more than the fact that i cant
install it with a regular unzip on the box (security settings) so i
unzip it on another mac
Missing URLs are because BBC hasn't put RealAudio URLs up or has taken
them down. It is not an AlienBBC problem.
There seems to be three reasons
1. Programs not recorded - it will be shown as not available on BBC
site. These programs should not even appear on AlienBBC menu.
