Tonight I was playing random songs, and I tried to rate the currently playing
track 4*. My player became unresponsive to IR commands, and lost contact with
server. The screen came back after a few seconds, but still unresponsive.

No.
I rebooted the server and then rated the track from the current playlist on the
same player without any problem (music wasn't playing though).
Not sure what the problem was - might not have been anything to do with
Trackstat.

I think I found a bug so attached is a modified version of RTMP.pm
file. Can you use to replace the file of same name on your system in
the BBCiPlayer plugin directory.
Then restart SBS and test as before with a log so that if it still
