The installer is dropping the 3 files that would normally be in the Inguz DSP folder into the Preference Panes folder at the level of (not within) the Squeezebox Server preference pane. Installing them manually and then restarting does not seem to address the problem either. -- esbrewer

I don't know what to suggest, what you're describing is just... odd! Permissions shouldn't be a problem because the installer asks for your administrative password so that it can copy the files to an otherwise restricted location. I'm also not sure why the files aren't going to the right place

Normally you don't unzip the par file as part of installation. If you want to replace the existing Plugin.pm file with the modified one you downloaded, I recommend unzipping the .par file (preserving the directory structure), replacing the Plugin.pm file in the correct place
