Thanks Triode! I'll try to get my hands on a hardware unit.

Yes, that should be fine.
2. Will this have any impact on NAS' transfer rate or performance?
Don't know. Unless you have huge amounts of memory (4GB) I doubt you'd see any
improvement of the 64 bits
Great to hear Michael!

Hi,
Ever since the upgrade to 1.2.5 on my iPhone 4 my ipeng has failed to
work properly. Caching is the problem. It shows the progress bar and
the artists will eventually populate. The albums (440 approx, 4200
songs) however, takes ages and seems to falter. It also seems to get as

Hi pippin !
I'm always using your great iPeng app since more than one year, with a
great pleasure... continue this good job.
I'm about to register to the Deezer premium offer in order to have
access to their music from my squeezebox.
Deezer is available on squeezebox server as an application,
I don't know about Deezer premium and how much of it's features are
implemented in the Squeezebox Server (or MySqueezebox.com, to be
precise) but whatever works there should work in iPeng, too.
The normal Deezer functionality works with iPeng.

Sure, it's an app like all the others. You can browse radios, your
favorites, playlists, search and play music etc. like in the web UI
too.

Hi everybody
I just got my Squeezebox Boom yesterday and I've installed the
SuperDateTime plugin and it works, but only if the squeezebox server is
running on my notebook.
Did I do something wrong with the settings?
Or I just need to have my notebook always on for the plugins to work?
Because I

I know that the latest version of iPeng has added new albums to the new
music menu automatically when iPeng was multitasking, but when I
added a couple of newly ripped albums today they did not show up in
that menu. The artist and album menus were automatically re-cached but
no new albums

Could you file a ticket for this? I suspect this might be a bug. This
menu is not cached but probably gets loaded only once.
