I would approach things this way, if your router allows it (i.e. if it
still allows ethernet traffic though needing a reset):

Hi all, recently installed and started using LMS and Triode's spotify
plugin, all working really well except for one issue.
When starting the machine (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS) LMS starts fine, but the
Spotify plugin will not work until the LMS is restarted. A simple stop
