According to Triode's thread, his plugin "requires a PC based server
running Squeezebox server (linux, windows or mac), or linux based intel
or arm based NAS." Triode's Spotify plugin did not run on my WD My Book
Live, so I am running it and LMS 7.8.1 on an Asus eeePC notebook.

Yep pretty much, take a look (on the XP machine) at the LMS Information
Tab and it shows the location of the Preference Folder.
Copy if over to the new machine to; C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\prefs
I would rescan from scratch though rather than copy the old database
across.

Assuming you are using Local Player, go to Settings, Player. Select
your Local Player, and Audio. There are several options here. I

Just an update to say I got LMS & Squeezelite working all good with the
Devialet 170 (soon to be the 200) from a Windows PC via USB. Above
solved it and only other issue was the admin rights being the same for
install & run of LMS AND the network shares for the music library.
One last question -
So setting up my new PC (Windows 7 Pro 64bit). My old box is Windows XP
(32 bit).
What's the best easiest way to migrate SuperDateTime (& even Logitech
Media Server) over? They'll both be version 7.7.3!?
