The instruction set differences are over-rated. There's very little loss
in buildn
Yea, and since Apple won't let me update non-iOS 9-Apps anymore there's
nothing I can really do about anything here, too.
Also, there's a reason the very last version (2.0.17) of iPeng Classic
was not available for 2nd gen devices and that was that at the time I
was no longer able to test builds o
Hi,
Thanks for reply so quickly.
Yes, I think when they brought out the 3rd gen ipod touch with more
memory, they just updated the ios on the 2nd gen 8gb model and
re-branded it as an 8gb 3rd gen. I think you're right about the low
memory issue...it's been running solidly for 2 days on the iPhone.
Hm, probably memory pressure.
That's a 2nd gen iPod touch. All the 3rd gen ones had 32GB and run iOS
5.
That's the equivalent model to the iPhone 3GS but the 3GS has more RAM,
that might be what's causing this.
I'm not aware of any memory leaks in iPeng 2.0.16 but hey, that's really
an old device
Hi,
I've been using ipeng on an old 3rd gen 8gb iPod Touch for a while. It's
version 2.0.16 on the last available ios upgrade ...4.2.1
It works great, but every few hours it drops out of the ipeng app and
back to the homescreen.
I've recently done a restore on the ipod and the only added apps are
Thanks for the reply. Yes my request was based on a Dec. 02, 04 date on
the current update as shown by LMS in the info. tab. The last overnight
beta (LogitechMediaServer-7.9.0-1453469922) is dated Jan. 22, 16. In any
event LMS is running fine on my DS215+. Thanks again to you and all who
help keep

Thanks for this - I'm sure it'll have been mentioned before but I hadnt
seen it - so thanks anyway, I'll be changing to Google or OpenDNS this
evening to see if it helps stabil

Long response times by BBC servers show up as "Couldn't resolve IP
address " errors - the majority of these are not DNS errors but long
reponse time from the CDN servers but confusingly reported by LMS as a
"couldn't resolve IP" . The timeouts used by the HLS code is the
default value set by LMS
I updated to the latest nightly build (BTW: is it a good idea?)
Yes. 7.9 is the latest and greatest in LMS' history ;-).

Oh, updating does the trick! The world is full of wonder ;-) (I feel a
little bit stupid now)
I updated to the latest nightly build (BTW: is it a good idea?) an
