I didn't say I was working on a solution :-). Maybe I'll just keep in
mind to tell anyone reporting this problem to disable auto-update until
it's gone...

Yes a couple of back and forth upgrade/install cycles did it , now its
gone and autoupdatae enabled again

I've been using Triodes spotify plugin for some years now and I has
served me very well, not sure how to live without it, but suddently it
appears I may have to. I started getting very long loading times for the
playlists, and now it will not load at all. It is loading for some time
and ends
Now can we make it go away from the update cue .
What if you now update it again, without enabling the auto-update?

I'm back to my Zipp mini. Installed the plugin version 0.2.0.1, removed
players audio delays that were formely needed, and bingo, I've got the
zipp and a Loop to play in sync. Bidirectional control works fine. My
zipp mini seems happy with the plugin.
I cold-started the whole network: servers, AP
That helped , removed autamtic update installed and reinstalled and
rebooted .
The nag message is gone but now it's in the cue for updated plug-ins ?
ver 1.9.99 if I turn on autoupdate again I assume it returns to nag
about it .
Now can we make it go away from the update cue .

You would have to side load it, but you wouldn't want to. The interface,
especially tablet mode, would not work well with a controller if it
works at all.

Hi again,
Just to update, I copied the libFLAC.so.8 to i386-linux and x86_64-linux
directories as suggested by jacobacci in the other topic and now it is
working great now.
I don´t know if I did something wrong but the fix was not installed
properly.

and now making a multi room attempt. I have tried to use a speaker named
Doss Cloud Fox A1 with squeeze2raop. The bridge does find the speaker,
it shows up in the configuration page for the bridge, but

A basic question: are you 'applying' the settings for the Yamaha to its
configuration?
The safe procedure is:
a. disable the plugin
b. select the device config
c. make change(s)
d. Apply button
e. Enable plugin
then test

Often you don't have to select anything specific when using DLNA, but
read the Yamaha manual first.
