I've posted a 1.4.9 release due to cache problem with 1.4.8. Essentially
1.4.9 is 1.4.7 with just one fix to solve the recent no audio issue.
1.4.8 caused cache.db to grow to unreasonable size. I've also noticed

I doubt it for "Listen Again" as I'm guessing it won't conform to BBC

Looking back I only turned on cache for both HSL and DASH in 1.4.8 so
cache size should not have been an issue before 1.4.7. I have been

1h is definitely too long for chunked http audio. I'll check if Triode
had at any stage a shorter expiry with his HLS imeplemntation. I'll
continue my test and see if cache size levels out after 1h. Then I

I don't know the default LMS cache expiry timeout but if it is say 15

Default is 1h. But you can override the expiry with every cached value.

LMS caches HTTP fetches and with chunked http (i.e. HLS, DASH) streams
are made up of typically 3-6 sec chunks of audio each fetch with http so
you can see there are a lot of http fetches that will be c
