Sure! What I forgot to say: Because I wasn't sure, if this all is my
error because I did something wrong in this Ubuntu installation, I
started from scratch with only this things:

Still not clear why the Ubuntu version doesn't like the mp3 stream - can
you run squeezelite with the following options "-d decode=sdebug" . You
can put log in a text file, zip it and attach to a post if it is too
big.
