I've been running LMS for over 5 years on my Desktop (A very small Lenovo TIny M900).. It's on all the time. I got a Synology NAS system about 6 months ago. Is there a good reason to run LMS on the NAS system instead of my Desktop Computer?

The difference between my system and yours may be in use of ALSA. Can you run again - this time the log "-d output=debug" to get details on ALSA setup as it looks like some ALSA parameters are not coming from command line

To do this I had to switch off the inbuilt Squeezelite in PCP and install the Local Player plugin within the LMS gui. The results are still the same. Any comments on the content of these boxes before I try to capture the log? 22556
