I browsed through the thread, I don't think Don't Stop The Music was
mentioned yet.
This is what I see: the first time DSTM kicks-in (replacing a "Song Mix"
item with an actual playlist), the virtual player doesn't seem to be
able to act on that playlist and stays caught in a silent startup loop

I installed spotty, on the lastest firmware DSM 6.1.4.
I used the existing helper app,

halfway there. My streamer is a Cambridge Audio 851N and this has a very
nice screen which displays metadata and artwork, but not with the upnp

RAOP did not notice mine - but would be spectacular if that is

This thread has really improved my home audio setup - if there is a
collection box somewhere where small contributions are possible?
