I'm listening back to 2 programmes on BBC R4 (Counterpoint and Just a Minute) anf am getting intermittent skips Internet speeds and pings are normal for me, and I'm not seeing any issues otherwise. I'm not hearing any skips if I listen on BBC sounds via the web. I also have a Pi4 running

It's definitely a permission problem. I enabled NFS and edited the share to create an NFS permission. In my case, I only needed write protected access (read-only) for the whole domain * I used Squash to give all users accessing the share admin privileges (this was needed to give non root users

Is it possible to manually edit the prefs file for podcasts safely? I have an OMPL export that can easily be transformed into the name/value pair with minimal work. I did try to do this, stopping LMS, doing an edit, and restarting but it went back to the old version. Am I missing something

Martin Thanks so much for doing this. I was running SSODS on my 214play very successfuly but thought I'd give this a go. The installation was painless and the plugin updates allowed me to do some tidying up. The whole library scan was a great deal faster. I really appreciate the work. Cheers!
