Thanks for this. What I am trying to do is be able to point an
application at the FLAC files and for this to analyse something like
beats per minute (BPM). This would then say you could have playlists by
BPM, slow ballards, fast rock etc.

I appreciate this could be done by genre, but then I would need to
genre every track, when I only genre by artist/album.
