Not necessary to uninstall LMS or new version of Perl. I'll try to
translate russian instruction for downgrade Perl without LMS uninstall:
- go to Package Center and uncheck automatic update.
- go to /var/packagers/Perl via SSH
I've got two news: good and bad. Good news: LMS on Pinkdot repository
updated and it installed correctly on my DS212+. Bad news: After
updating Perl version, LMS can't start again. Who want to downgrade Perl
version without reinstall LMS welcome to 'this'
I've got same error message if I try to update LMS via Packages Center.
I have DS212+ (armv5). But i didn't update DSM for latest version. After
second try to update LMS, the message about available update for LMS is
disappeared. https://pinkdot.myds.me/sspks/ as depository in Settings.
And where can I read change log?

keep going round in circles here
Ok. -Unpowered- is the main feature. I see. There are two types of USB
hubs in market. One of them has only USB A-Type ports. One to PC and
others to peripheral devices. Second type has one A-Type port and all
others ports are B-Type. B-type for PC connection and
Is this hub should have external power, current protection of ports or
other features?

I have just remembered that Triode also recommended using an unpowered
USB hub between some DACs and the SBT running EDO.
Is this advice may be replaced by more shorter USB cable? Now I use 1m
cable. Manufacturer recommended less than 1,5m cable, that included in
retail
Reinstall of EDO didn't helps.
It's no matter what I turn on at first time. Even I turn on DAC at first
and after that turn on SBT there is connection in Info.
-USB 1 No-Hub workaround- didn't helps too.

I've got Squeezebox Touch and USB DAC. When I turn off DAC and then turn
on it, Touch loose connection with it. Sometimes disappeared XMOS...
string in digital output menu. Sometimes this string is present, but
status displayed as stopped. Even I turn on DAC early than Touch. Is it
possible to
No. USB DAC has own power. DAC never turn off too. I use remote control
for turn it on and off.

libgcc - 4.8.3-8b
make - 3.81-1
But I'm not sure that nasm is present for my ARM architecture in this
world.

I am very interested in solving the problem. What should I do? Which
modules I must to install for compiling? Which commands should I write
in the console?
WadDad's Profile:
pinkdot, when I used your repack there is one bug. If I set different
port in network settings (9002 for example) after restart it's returned
to default 9000.

So, you have to set the SSODS_SSUSEBINARIES flag. To make sure ssods
will use the binairies that come with LMS. This might fail!
Where I'm must to set this flag? Can I make this setting in last
official SSODS release? Do I understand that it will be possible to use
a Suse

If I have something to test I will send you a PM.
Thank you. But how about SSODS repack, that supports new versions of
LMS? If I am not mistaken, this is your development?
*Linvincible*
Your version supports DSD playback?
It's so sad.
