yes both SBS and amarok are running on the same system. I haven't been
able to pin-point a specific moment when the failure occurs...it seems
to vary. Any suggestion on logs I can look at?

that was it. I restarted CPU 2 then I restarted SC on CPU 1 and it works
flawlessly. For some reason just restarting MySQL on CPU2 and then
restarting SC on CPU1 did not work (this had been what I was
trying)...I wonder why the need for the full reboot? Thanks!

directory for CustomBrowse only contains the 3 CustomBrowse
.xml menus that I have. None of this made any difference to the memory
consumption.

CustomScan and MultiLibrary running. Reducing the memory down to its
normal 90M is just a matter of turning off CustomBrowse! Any idea how
to fix this or what's going on? Thanks.

Is there a way to create a CustomBrowse menu that only shows tracks in a
certain MultiLibrary library which have Playcount = 0?

So, if I were somehow able to tweak Phil Meyer's PluginManager to make
squeezecenter rescan playlists before adding the track, I might be in
business. Anyone have an idea of how I might going about doing this? Is
there a simple command for rescaning playlists?

Can anyone think of a clever solution for this? If there was a way to
get Squeezecenter to just add a file to the end of the .m3u file
instead of rewriting the whole .m3u file that would solve it. (This is

tried all of that with no luck.
I'm not getting any scanning updates in the SqueezeCenter log when
CustomScan runs. Does that suggest anything?

tried both with Amarok open
and closed (does it make a difference? do I need to restart slimserver
after closing amarok?) and no success. any ideas? thanks
edit: also, the music library is the same for both by amarok MySQL
