This may be possible through a plugin, however note one of the main tenants of the squeezebox servers from the earlier days was to NEVER modify the music files. So any plugin that did this would be going around that tenant and not using any built in API.

So on ipeng for the iPad I recently noticed that my left side nav bar is just the icons and I can not get it back to text. I remember being able to switch this in the past but for the life of me can not seem to do it now.

I use to be a huge rating person. But when the dev started charging for the plugins I reconsidered if rating was worth it. Turns out it is not, because I found I did not like filtering my music based on how I felt about it during a single moment in time. The only thing I do miss is I used 1

Pippin the music starting up again after a call I have noticed with other music apps such as apples podcast app. I have noticed it with having a podcast paused before the call then after the call it starts playing. This did not start happening until ios6. I suspect it is an iOS bug.

So for awhile I have been able to play music via my iPad at work by VPN into my home network to connect to my Squeezebox. I decided to open up ports 9000 TCP and 3483 UDP to only my work IP to eliminate needing the VPN (it was just a pain and would drop out and have to reconnect, and I suspect

Yes the remote server is the current one. And I am connecting remotely, currently at work and without a VPN the only way to connect is remotely. Yes I have forced closed iPeng a few times trying to see if that was the issue. Just now, I removed the local server from my list of servers so that

I think I know what the issue might be. My office does not allow high-ports outbound (anything over 1024). So I have my port mapping for 348 - 3483, and 900 - 9000. I do not see where I can change the 3483 port in ipend to 348.

I have this plugin config to use quick select 3 which is set to switch to the input my squeezebox is on. This works great if the denon is off when I turn my squeezebox on. However if the denon is already on and I turn on the squeezebox it does not switch the denons inputs.

Can not restore my previous purchase of Playback on my iPad for iPeng. I have both iPeng for iPhone and for iPad. On the iphone is shows I have playback support. However on the ipad that I recently got the new one it will not enable playback after I click restore. -- m1abrams

So I plan on getting an iPad pretty soon and of course the first app I will install in it is iPeng. I currently already have an iphone with iPeng and have the addon to allow local playback. If I buy the iPad version of iPeng do I need to buy the addon again? -- m1abrams

I think I came up with a decent solution for handling having iPeng access my SBS from outside my network and not have to have SBS exposed to the world. I setup my WHS to work as an IPSec VPN server and have my iphone connect to my server via VPN. -- m1abrams
