yup, I was running all the above commands as root using the 'su' command - I assume that's the same thing? Code: su perl -MCPAN -e shell install CPAN reload CPAN install YAML install HTML::FormatText

fixed stuff and it didn't. I know you guys are working hard at delivering a kick ass system, but you might want to re-think your pre-requisites list - asking the average home user to register as an Apple developer and play with the Terminal is not a road to true success. Thanks An
