I have noticed this problem for a while and thought I would investigate a fix today. I rolled back to 7.3.3 some time ago as I had issues with rescanning my music library in 7.4. Maybe I need to read up on how this is progressing as I would like to upgrade, if only to ensure my Boom does not go through FW upgrade loop every time I switch between SC and SN. Anyhow I am moving OT. I just wanted to add I have applied the .zip file as per Edit2 and it works a treat so far.
