And suggested solution? Thanks in advance.

I meant that I'm not using the Sparky for anything other than LMS, so
I'm not putting great demands on whatever version of Ubuntu is
installed.

The Sparky Allo is a single board computer, running LMS. On top is a
Kali reclocker and Piano DAC. Previously I was running a Raspbery Pi and

Yes, I've seen that. It's odd,
Right, Debian has not been updated. It is Debian - EN - utf8. But how
does this relate to the problem streaming FLAC?

I've updated Max2Play to the latest version (2.48). OpenSSL has not
changed: stays at 1.53.
AAC plays, though with this error:

I'm not familiar with openSSL. I assume that it's part of Max2Play? I'm
using Version 2.41 (for the Allo Sparky).

My bad! Turns out the reboot that installed the updated RP also led to
the system clock being off. Now both players seem to have access to all
the right streams.

Hi, I just started using RP 2.4.2, with LMS 7.9.1 on an Allo Sparky with

update performance was pretty good, with some occasional dropout. But
the update brought immediate problems:

Oh, I thought you were suggesting that the router might be blocking the
URL. I am running LMS in an Allo Sparky, with Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS and
Max2Play. To be honest I don't know how to test the URL on it. I imagine
I could run a browser from the command line, but since it's headless
that's not

I'm not blaming BBCiPlayer for this problem, just hunting around for a
solution.

I usually listen live (from outside the UK), but I just tried to listen

I have just installed LMS (7.8.0) on a new machine (an Allo Sparky). It
seems to be running fine, except that BBCiPlayer (1.5.2) displays
