Success!
My test results...
1. When pCP is already selected as a device in the Android Spotify app:
- A random track starts playing after 4 seconds
- Skipping tracks also takes 4 seconds
2. When a track is playing through my phone's speakers and I switch to
pCP in the Spotify app:

Hi slartibartfast,
It takes about 30 seconds for a track to start playing when played via
the Spotify app on Android. This is roughly the same whether played
through wired
Thanks Michael, I understand
Can you speculate as to what might be the cause of the potential network
issue? I'm willing to try things to get it working properly

Hi Michael, thanks for your reply
I have not modified Squeezelite's buffer sizes in any way. Could you
please advise how best to go about this?
Cheers

Hi all,
I'm currently running a rpi 3B+ with pCP 4.1.0, LMS 7.9.2 and Spotty
2.7.4 - but it is painfully slow when playing Spotify via Android app
(Spotify Connect)
I'm experiencing the same issues as detailed in this thread:
