this isn't the cause. All 'custombrowse' directories point to the same (self-created) directory (var/lib/squeezeboxserver/custombrowse). Deleting the PluginCache-CustomBrowse.db file solved the problem. Thanks for the help. raven22

I would say, go for a self made itx system, install Clarkconnect and you are a lot more flexible in installing plugins and addons like musicip. Or buy a used thin client. Besides that your system will be and a lot faster and probably cheaper. -- raven22

Do the Mix Style and Mix Variety settings in the Sugarcube config override the settings on the headless MIP server. In other words , it is not important what i have set in the MIP intrface? -- raven22 raven22's Profile

I tried 2 different cd-rom drives and burned several CD's (RW and R) but everytime the same result. The debian install .iso which i burned worked and installed without problems, so i am not sure it is the CD-rom drive or cd's. -- raven22
