I've manually updated 7.9.2 to 8.0.0 but IO::Socket::SSL: has remained
at 2.037. Any help on updating this as I believe later version is
required for HTTPS?

Enabled plugin & now LMS is stuck on "starting". Can't stop or restart
as options are unavailable.
Rebooted server (WHS) & still stuck at "starting".

Confused.
Does the current version of iPeng include playback by default or is it
still an additional cost item? The reason for the confusion is the
reference to playback being a £2.99 add-on but a search of the iTunes
store for iPeng Playback produces no results.

Well the backup has just finished without any hiccups in the random
play. I'll leave debugging enabled in case it throws up anything useful
in future but I guess it's easiest to just stop the SBS service when
running backups.

I guess there could be any number of reasons for the random play
crapping out. My real concern is as I said before, I'm sure the released
SPC under 7.3.x didn
Thats very odd as I never saw this behaviour when I was running 7.3.x
with the released version of SvrPowerCtrl.

I'm currently running the latest beta SvrPowerCtrl on 7.4.2 under XP.
Just running a backup using MS SyncToy & SvrPowerCtrl is suspending the
server while SyncToy is still copying files.
Obviously this is unwanted behaviour.

rrent recommended combination of server software & SPC
version? Before the my server crash I was running 7.3.3 with 7.4
firmware. I only have SB3 & Boom & never actually use
MySqueezebox/Squeezenetwork for anything other than keeping the
date/time display alive.

I hibernate my HP laptop. When coming out of hibernation it doesn't seem
to attempt to verify a mapped network drive is available. So it only
wakes the server if I access the share.
The laptop also has a Broadcom chipset so I don't know if that help
compatability.

stently, it's the reconnect to SC that seems
