Setting the spotty logs to "Error" does not show anything related to
time-outs. any other ideas where the server could be timing out that you
could share?

Upgrade squeezelite to v1.9.8-1323 . although same behavior. keeps
running "getMetadataFor" endlessly for whatever track is being trying to
get played. no errors in the logs that I can find... not sure where else
to look...

Ubuntu 18.04 x86_64 and squeezelite v1.8.5-802 and Client ID on Spotty
has been entered.
Spotty used to run just fine on Ubuntu 14.04 on the exact same hardware.
I simply rebuilt the server on 18.04 and this is the result.
Even when Spotty start to play a track (after 20 seconds or more) and
I have a similar problem. When trying to play anything via Spotty
directly on to LMS . the players sits there for like 20-30 before it
start playing anything and sometimes it does not play anything at all.
I've tried on LMS 7.9.x and 8.2.x nightly builds and same results.

Wondering what would be the best way to play airplay streams without
FLAC. The reason why I'm trying to disable flac is to prevent some
flickering/glitches noise while playing the airplay stream.

Plugin is installed, enabled and finds all the airplay players in the
network. The only problem is... Even thought squeezebox shows as is
playing audio there is no audio at the airplay player Here is the
log.
What could am I missing? :confused:
