Synology just killed probably thousands of LMS servers yesterday with
their perl update, and only half a dozen of them will be able to figure
out how to recover
that is very very sad
Just to contribute, the exact links for INTEL based synologies (like
mine) and
I have to confirm what others said
plugin 0.86.1 (I tried reverting to 0.86.0 too)
on Synology + LMS 7.9.1
Search and thumbanils work fine
Sound "cuts" every 8 seconds (on music)
Sound is OK on other videos
I'd be glad to help test things if I can.

If like me you've got a marriage to save, I did fix the issue in
probably the most awful way,
Edit
/volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/ShairTunes2W/lib/Crypt/OpenSSL/RSA.pm
And change
our $VERSION = '0.30';
to
our $VERSION = '0.28';
Makes the plugin start
