Hello all,
I have this strange issue since latest beta update of LMS:
Spotify tracks do not make it to the end. After about 3 minutes, the
song stops playing and immediately the next song starts.
What can be the issue?

Hello,
When trying to install the spotty plugin on my Windows 10 based
Squeezebox Server, the Sophos AV directly interferes and cleans the
machine by deleting the installation file. I guess it is infected. Can
you please check and upload a non-infected version of the file?

I'm on the latest 7.9 build (windows 8.1). Search doesn't work in the
Triode/RichieZed SpotifyFamily plugins.

There is no direct support for this at present I'm afraid, I only
implemented this for playlists. Is this important to you?
This is a bug with squeezebox server which I can't fix in the plugin - I
have raised a bug and hope it will be fixed in 7.6, but I can't work
around
I'm observing the same issues!

Must be something changed in the Spotify API.

Sorry this is not supported at this time.
Hmm, that's the only thing that doesn't work with remote players. Is it
something that you will plan to make possible in the future?

Hello,
The spotify 2.2.7 plugin works perfectly, except for 1 situation: A
player connected to my LMS from the internet, which connect fine and can
play local (in the LMS) files and radio streams, does not play spotify
tracks.
The selftest says: Player Unable to Connect
The log says:

I don't think this will work - the helper app will need to validate the

What exactly is validating? What kind of traffic should be routed in
which way(s)?

Nothing looks wrong there - is it possible you have two helper apps
running - try rebooting the machine the server is on.
I think the problem is, my server is now multihomed. (ecause of a
temporary internet connection via usb modem). This makes SBS crash a
couple of times per

This is the official Logitech app indeed. Do you know where I can do a
bug request? Isn't that just via these forums?

Hey, thanks! That seems to be it, because disabling the FW on the server
solves the issue.
What port and or program should I create an inbound/outbound rule for?
