You can try moving to wma if you are using the default aac streams
I got my Touch yesterday and have tried installing this. Thanks, it
seems to work pretty well!
I have been a long time user of your SBS plugin version and when using
that I can press (+) to get a context menu on a listen again programme
which, amongst other things, will give me a programme

Attempting to do this using your applet on the Touch seems to just add
the programme to the playlist.
Am I doing something wrong or is there no way to get an equivalent CM
on the applet?
No this does not work at present - its the same issue as flagged above
that you
Looks like this is bug 15824 in the main server/player software. This
has now been fixed and so should make it into the next player release.
If you are using a local server then you can get this early by
downloading a nightly release, but otherwise I expect it to be fixed
when in 7.5.1 is
Can you add the URL's for these streams to Mysqueezebox.com favourites?

You can save the live streams to the preset buttons on Squeezebox
Radio. At present you can't store the streams in Mysqueezebox.com
favorites. (I'm not sure you can save any radio urls to favorites
Thanks for a great add-on - it will get a lot of use here.
One oddity - after installation, none of the listen again content would
play. Any attempt would fail with a 'Connection reset by local host'
message on the screen. I got the same result with both V0.6 and 0.7. A
successful work-around
Its working for me here. If you are happy to help debug and know what
ssh is then I can give you some tips for debugging?

1) go to settings, advanced, logging and set the logging level to debug
for applet.BBCRadio and audio.decode
2) go to settting, advanced and enable remote login
3) log into the device using ssh (ssh root@address, password is
1234)
4) tail -f

Can you play the mms stream in a pc based player?
mms://wm-acl.bbc.co.uk/wms/radio4fmcoyopa/radio_4_fm_-_monday_1300.wma
It looks like this does not connect to the server.
The iplayer plugin will also use connections from the player. You
could try setting proxied playback for the player to
No joy there either.
Also tried this:

Pinging wm-acl.bbc.net.uk [212.58.227.108] with 32 bytes of data:

Ping statistics for 212.58.227.108:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4
Can't help you with that then - looks like the BBC servers are refusing
to talk to you. Its possible they think you are outside the uk...
Can you ping the same address without the -acl bit? I think that is
the server for the non uk streams.

Many thanks - sounds like I might need to send the BBC a missive:

The upgrade of MySqueezebox.com to 7.5 makes more features available for
3rd party applets, and in particular enables the BBCRadio applet - so
I'm announcing it now...
BBCRadio allows Radio and Touch users access to all BBC content (both
listen live and listen again) without requiring a local
triode,
tried this briefly, it is of limited use to me as I always use SBS but
will be great at gf's, where she only has mySB ('til Touch arrives and
then still no SBS = no plugins so applet looks good)
had to unsync Radio to find BBC in applet list
having chosen listen live:6, this worked fine

triode,
I can play some more tomorrow, but synchronisation may be too much (if
applet is active beyond stream selection then non-SP devices won't
work).
I think synchronisation may be too much for this - it requires
mysqueezebox.com to be used as the server.
shame - but I can see why - I suggest editing that into your
announcement and seeing if error message can also say so - someone else
is bound to trip over this (i.e. my GF will select on Radio and the
always sync'd Receiver will cause it to fail - at least a message would
prompt her to poer off
