I wondered if Dynamic Playlists 4 will work with Trackstat. I like
Ratings Light but one feature seems to be absent that I particularly
like. Trackstat updates ratings of albums based on plays and unless I
misunderstand how Ratings Light works it does not automatically rate
albums in this way. I

I took a look and commited some changes to GitHub. I don't have time to
test them now, so no new release yet. If you w

the ability to do what I want in a different way. Thanks for what you've
done here!

First off it was a user error on finding the static playlist. Looked on
the wrong computer! It was in my defined Playlist folder on the correct
computer.
Second, When I click on a Dynamic playlist I created in Material skin on
Windows there's no save static in the menu.

It has been available in Classic and Material since 4.0.0. In Material
you just click on a dynamic playlist and then at the end you have the

I did the Default skin and clicked the floppy, specified a name, but
cannot find the static playlist anywhere! Looked in my LMS defined

folder and can't find
Dynamic playlists that use the DPL4 *cache option* cannot have a track
limit because DPL4 loads *all* tracks matching the dynamic playlist's
search parameter into the cache in one initial database query (more
detailled explanation in DPL upgrade FAQ). That's why you can't set a
track limit in DPL
Okay, I see this setting for # of tracks is in DPL4 settings. I could
have sworn it was in the DPLC selection settings, at least for Random
tracks advanced.

Just swapped out DPL3 for DPL4 and find there's no longer a setting in
DPLC that specifies the number of tracks to add at a time and seems to
be hard coded at 20 tracks. I use this setting if I want to create a
playlist that will put all songs that match my criteria into the queue

With DPL4 you can actually save the result for a dynamic playlist a
After messing with DPLC w/DPL3 I'm thinking DPLC deserves it's own
"Announce" thread. I believe w/DPL4 and DPLC you've successfully
replaced both Erlands DPL and SQL Playlists. Earlier in this thread I
asked where DPLC put the SQL for a created playlist or if the SQL for a

@af1 Been playing with this a little bit! Thanks for including the BPM
filtering! I can create a "Dynamic Playlist" and set the number of
tracks to like 1000, add it to the queue and then save it as an M3U
playlist for use on my phone. My test for all my "Pop, Rock" type genres
had DPLC works muc

Good question. I've added it to the DPLC FAQ.
