On another note, even with 2.5.7 installed, if I start my compute
Squeezelite-X is wonderful, I just noticed one thing that would make
life easier if it was fixed.
Choosing, say, a composer and hitting play with 'shuffle by song' turned
on can result in a very large playlist since I have the max playlist
length set to zero on the LMS side.

Your doubts are correct. SLX does not send much via CLI, just what is
needed to support media key presses and subscribe to certain commands.

an aero peek preview when hovering over the taskbar entry of SLX that
just shows the artist and title?

Looks like the language translation issue might a Chromium Embedded
Framework issue. As an experiment, I installed SLX 2.4.20, which used a
previous version of CEF and it does not exhibit the problem. So I need
to roll back to a previous version of CEF, re-build with that.

Thanks ralphy, have downloaded and tried both. However, when attempting
to run them both installs display the DLL error mentioned a few posts
back - so retried 2.4.28 and that runs without the erro
