I've added an additional startup parameter to squeezeslave (--daemonize or -M) to daemonize the process. This way, you can use it in your startup scripts. I've attached squeezeslave.c (based on 0.8.24 from sourceforge), and a startup script as it works on fedora core. It's not a patch because I d

Hi, You can make an -/etc/init.d/squeezeslave- script (start with copying an other -/etc/init.d/- script) that can be configured to start up at certain run levels. On fedora, you can configure the startup runlevels with -chkconfig-, but I think you have to use -sysv-rc-conf- or -update-rc.d- on U

Hi, How do I start squeezeslave automaticly on startup using Ubuntu 8.04? Preferably using the Session manager in ubuntu.. I tried adding the command "squeezeslave" in the sessions manager, but that didn't work. It seems like I have to have a terminal window open to get it to work.. -- jenscw
