I have been very happily using 6.3 and AlienBBC 1.05, until yesterday
when I upgraded, using the Debian package to Slimserver 6.5.0 and the
6.5 version of the Alien plugin. Long story short I cannot get this
to work. When I change the file type in the
slimserver/server/filetypes page I get:

Required binary was not found: [mplayer.sh] -really-quiet -vc null -vo
null -bandwidth 10000000 -cache 128 -af
volume=0,resample=44100:0:1,channels=2 -ao
pcm:nowaveheader:file=/dev/fd/3 $FILE$ | [flac] -cs --totally-silent
--endian=little --channels=2 --sign=signed --bps=16 --sample-rate=44100
--compression-level-0 -

when I try from the box I get the rtsp: file convert error-check file
types.

I have tried changing permissions of mplayer.sh and owner to and from
root and slimserver. mplayer itself can stream audio from a real
source just fine.

One possible problem is where the mplayer.sh is located. With the
Debian package should this be in /usr/share/slimserver/Bin ?
Thanks in advance for any help...
Eric
