after resetting the iTunes xml file path and messing around with various
SC settings, I got this working. It's kind of like trying to tune in a
far way TV station via an old analog antennae...you use some aluminum
foil, a coat hanger, bang the TV a few times and when it works you walk
slowly
Hats off to erland for these great plugins! I've got a quirk here that I
can't figure out...I'm trying to get my last time played data from
iTunes to SC using CustomScan. I get times played and the rating fine,
but the only Last Played data is only since my most recent backup. My
iTunes library
was this ever solved Philip?
I am having the same problem, all is working as usual, except the
CustomScan itunes import is not working. (export is working perfectly)
I have chosen a sample from my logs to show what is happening in the
scan:
[09-06-05 16:31:38.1955]
Does the log say anything more if you enable debug logging on TrackStat?
I'll try again.
Is the problem only for paths which contain a apostrophe character ?
Hmmm, could be caused by Phil's%20Music - the apostrophe not being escaped -
that would account for the vast majority of my music library.

After the Itunes Statistics import job finished, I looked in TrackStat, and it
hadn't applied iTunes ratings to TrackStat. The log reported the following for
each track:
[23:15:52.2189] Plugins::TrackStat::Storage::mergeTrack (1072) No matching
alternative path found for
Or at least it looks like it's not working - it's still in progress, but
reporting a lot of warnings in the log:
[23:15:52.2189] Plugins::TrackStat::Storage::mergeTrack (1072) No matching

I think I'm seeing something similar - some of my track have different
playcounts in iTunes and SqueezeCenter.
Wiping the library and re-importing doesn't fix the incorrect
playcounts.

I assume your iTunes music has been changed to your new music file
paths?
Yes, I rebuilt my iTunes music library, and exported trackstat into it which
worked.
I then rated some tracks in iTunes and tried to import iTunes into
SqueezeCenter.
I tried again today - I rated a song 3* in iTunes
You will need to enable TrackStat debug logging if you like to see more
information in the log about what it tries to import for a specific
track.
The exitScanTrack log messages in the end are correct, it calls that
code once for each batch of tracks it tries to import.
It looks like iTunes has
I tried to import iTunes (v8) Statistics back into SqueezeCenter 7.3, but it
doesn't look like any ratings have been imported.
I believe this used to work, but it's been some time since I last tried; there
have been many changes to my environment since my last attempt.
