I think you can achieve what you want with the SQL Playlist plugin. Just create a new 'Advanced' playlist, the offered options should give you what you want. A newly created playlist shows up under 'Dynamic Playlists'. Ah, erlands plugins give you a lot of functionality, but you also have to

There should be a checkbox 'Only never played songs' in the configuration dialog for the playlist I meant, don't know if you are in the same dialog. ;) BTW, the 'SQL Playlist' plugin shows up in the 'Extra' menu. -- signor_rossi
