No.. that's the beauty of linux. That command will download it from an

I have put on all the plugins that I had on my windows machine on
VortexBox and only 2 cause problems.

You should talk to the plugin developers. Are you using the same version
of the plugin on each machine? I will add a little Introduction to the
Linux command line section to the VortexBox website when I get a
chance. Thanks for your input.

Many of the plugins can now be downloaded from the user interface. The
plugins on VortexBox are located in /var/lib/squeezecenter/Plugins

The trackstat plugin also has an option to backup/restore data to/from a
file (never tested it though). And as agillis already said, most plugins
can be downloaded in the Extension Donloader now, so you won't run into
file permission problems.

I have discovered (using the GUI on Windows) the ease of using the
Repositries to get the PlugIns on the VortexBox (same as in Windows).
As I have used Squeezecenter on my Windows machine for a year or more,
I really would like to get the TrackStat ratings for each music
TrackStat has a backup feature that is part of it's interface. Backup up
TrackStat using windows. Call the file something like trackstat.bak Then
connect over the network to your vortexbox SMB share. Put the
trackstat.bak files in \\vortexbox\files\music\playlist the go to the
user interface on
