You want to look at the "Manage header/footer items" sub section in the
Custom Browse settings.
The important type is the first part of the name of the menus shown in
this list, for example the "libraryartistheader" of the menu called

Thanks, I'll experiment some with it. I noticed that the included
'artist by letter' is already a big improvement for scrolling through
the artist section on the Boom.

If you like to see more detail of how to create menus, look at the

There are basically two ways to do this kind of menu:
1.
Start with the "Artists by Letter" menu, choose the "Customize
configuration" option
I would like to build an artist menu structure starting by 3 letter
(ABC, DEF, GHI ...) and then by 1 letter.

with regards to making it do what I want!

I have 2 music libaries, one of CD's and one of live shows.
