Is there a plugin that allows to use Slimserver as an Audio Device for
Windows XP? This would allow all audio to be directed to Slimserver
(preferably in addition to the computer's Audio Device). Or is such a
thing even possible?

It's probably possible, and has been mooted several times. The main
flaw seems to be getting the sound to the SB3 instantly - there would
be some kind of delay, which would be annoying for most uses - films,
games etc. I know of no working solution.

Another great reason for it would be output the sound from a TV tuner.
Here in the UK we get radio broadcasts over digital terrestrial TV and
my TV is run through a media PC. If I could output the sound to a
stream for the SB to pick up then I could listen to sports commentaries
that they are n
You can use Windows media Encoder instead of shoutcast but the delays I
experienced was about 8 seconds - the detailed instruction are in post
3 in this thread.

Thought I would reserect this thread, just say that I can now listen to
Napster on my SB3's by using Windows Media Encoder on my XP machine and
streaming via Squeezecenter on my Linux machine to my SB3's. it works
perfectly with very little delay. The set up is not perfect as you have
to set up yo
The WaveInput plugin is a better solution.
