I just recognized that LazySearch 3.6.3 seems to have a bug. When I
search for an artist which is also an artist of one or more songs of a
compilation the albums of this artist and the compilations are
correctly shown when I press RIGHT on the found artist. However, when I
then press RIGHT on one

Tried this one and it indeed works.
Thanks for the report - yes, I do plan on updating it. Hopefully
that'll be easier than the changes necessary for 7.6.
I'll get the 7.6-compatible release out first (hopefully next week)
then I'll take a look at the 7.7 version.

Are you planning on getting LazySearch to work with 7.7 Logitech Media
Server? I've just installed 7-3.6.0b3, sad to find it doesn't work
with LMS.

Stuart,
In limited testing so far Lazy Search b3 works as advertised, I cannot
recall ever selecting the All Items entry, but for completeness it
should be there but it is not a showstopper.
This is the last piece of the 7.6.x puzzle in place.
Thank you for your effort.

Stuart, you may hate me for being one more person who asks you about the
current state of your beyond belief plugin -LazySearch-, but on the one
hand one (me) cannot always be a nice guy ;-) , on the other hand
-LazySearch- (besides -MusicInfoSCR-) is *the* plugin I use most often.
So please add
I have the same problem with SC 7.6.1. and LazySearch 3.5.6.
Artist, album and genre search are broken in lazysearch. That means you
will find the item but pressing RIGHT does always only show the same
entry again, so browsing is not possible. However, keyword and title
search work correctly.
I've now updated to the latest SBS, having held back because of the loss
of lazy search functionality. However, I'm pleased to find that keyword
search does appear to work properly, so the other missing features, such
as artist search isn't too much of a problem.
It would still be good, though,

i've got the same problem, i've noticed that my lazysearch is trying to

that just a coincidence (in my case) or could that also be affecting
the use of the search?
also, my song lazysearch allows me to right arrow, but album

I can tell you that pressing PLAY if you find an album or a song does
indeed work. and plays the album or the song. Come to that, if you
find an artist, and press PLAY, it starts playing songs by that
artist, and will presumably go on and play everything if you let it.
BUT if you press
Yep - that's what I'd hoped. It's just the browsing into X (ie browse
into artist and see albums, browse into album and see tracks) that's
duff.
At least it can still just about be used for basic searching-playing
use cases while I sort my act out, though!

I've just started looking at this again. The good news is that the
database stuff is all still working and it's just the display of
results that needs fixing - I think you've discovered this yourself.
I'm looking to see if there's a way to hop into the xmlbrowser mode to

I've got plans to look at fixing the plugin, but my machine is currently

I'll try to find some time to get a onebrowser branch server running

I've tried reverting to 7.5.4, but my little plug computer just hasn't

Do we know when it broke? is it possible to revert to that version? or
is it possible to get a build from the sources that don't have this
So, what was the last nightly build not using 'onebrowser' (whatever the
significance of that is), and where can I obtain it?

Hello, yes thanks for the report. I've heard there are problems with the

I'm hoping to look into this in the next couple of days - I've been away
but should have a few hours soon... I've not forgotten about it and

Ah yes, thanks for the reminder. I'd noticed the onebrowser switch might
have been temporary when it was merged to the 7.6 trunk a while back.
A pointer from Logitech on whether this is likely to live-on for the the
7.6 would be appreciated.
Meanwhile, I'll work on any changes to the plugin in a
Hi there
I've been using Lazysearch for a significant time - I think it's
excellent - well done!
I'm using Lazysearch 3.5.6 with 7.6.0.
But I've run into a small problem. I was using it perfectly well with
the beta version 7.6.0 r31xxx (not sure of the number) - I downloaded
it in January
