The only issue that screwed everything up was the Desktop Spotify app
which was casting and connecting to the RPI. Uninstalled it forever.

I have never used the LMS Spotty Plugin very much :(
The reason is that I once asked Mr Herger a question regarding Rust and
he replied that I might like to "try it myself" :) (or something like

I think I've tried to explain this many times before... as far as I
understand the issue. In short: the Connect mode is a hack.
Connect mode suffers from the fact that both LMS and Spotify believe
i am hoping that when I cast from my iPeng app to my Squeezelite player
while my Spotify music through Spotty is playing, the music audio
switches without a problem.
Last time, I tried, it did switch and never was able to go back.
Another question, why can't I connect to spotify (max2play) from

I see there is a new Spotty version, I'll update to that when I can
It's unlikely it will improve the Connect reliability, unfortunately.
But please try it out.

Try this;
Install m2p on one raspberry pi with LMS, install the LMS Spotty Plugin
on this rpi.
Also install Squeezelite on this rpi and configure it with -C 10

I am trying to get ANY help actually. This has been so strange
Perfect combination of SQZlite + Spotify.
I had also uploaded the logs in my previous posts and had no response.
Hence the multiple threads.
I have switched all the OS's and the problem persists.

I guess you're using the Connect mode? Would playback using the Spotty
