AFAIK MusicIP is only available for x86 CPUs - which isn't used in the
ReadyNAS.

I think it should be possible to run musicip linux on a ReadyNas and
integrate it with slimserver already running on that box.
Has anyone tryed this?

Michael
I presume this means you're running MiP headless and interacting with
it via the remote and/or slimserver web interface?

As of the current implementation of the integration they have to be run on
the same machine. But seeing your NAS' specs I
I have my audio library and slimserver hosted on a NAS that serves as a
standalone audio solution independent of my PCs.
Do MiP and slimserver need to be running on the same box to be able to
integrate the two or is it possible to have a PC-based MiP interface
with a NAS-based slimserver?
